The origins of KeyMRO:
Since 2001, continuing growth and development of our offer
In late 2000 :
Three major international companies in non-competing sectors: Rhodia, Schneider Electric, and Thomson multimedia, began exploring ways of optimizing their non-production procurement costs, notably those relating to overhead, administration and MRO (maintenance, repair and operations).
February 2001 : In February 2001, pooling their expertise and experience, the companies decided to establish an independent company, KeyMRO, the very first global service company, specializing in procurement, supply management with solution deployment, cost optimisation and e-sourcing. December 2004 : the founding members decided to step aside from the ownership of the company, resulting in acquisition by IBM. With KeyMRO, IBM now provides their clients with procurement related services. Combine, IBM and KeyMRO offer a wide range of procurement added value solutions and services in many industries, whenever our clients want to transform their processes of indirect procurement to generate savings, increase their productivity, enhance end users satisfaction or take advantage of new business opportunities.
